News...

Since we have soccer every Saturday right now, and races, we usually stop and get a treat. Slushies was the treat of the day!

Kale is an awesome soccer player. This is the game where he scored 5 goals! He is the one in the black shirt.

Kale loves tacos, and Doritos. So, when Taco Bell announced their Dorito Taco we knew he would have to try one. He loved it!

Liberty, Missouri

We had the chance to visit Liberty, MO over the kids spring break. It was really fun, and we learned quite a bit. Carson is sitting in front of the replica of the Liberty Jail, where Joseph Smith and 5 others were sent to live for 4 months.

The upstairs of the jail. This is where the jailer lived.

Outside the jail.

This is one of the windows they had in the basement of the jail. Actually after the window, it had a layer of rock before opening up to the dungeon they lived in.

We also visited Watkins Mill. It now belongs to the state parks. It used to be a farm and textile and woolen mill.

Carson had another race this past weekend. It was the aquarium run. He had another great day! He ran his 5k in 27.05! Great job Carson.
Mara and Kale had been fighting quite a bit, so we thought they should work together more. Lee wrapped their hands together with Duct tape for awhile. See how happy they are! :)
They wanted to go camping, but since that wasn't going to happen, they made their own fire. They also decorated the room like a campsite, and then slept in their sleeping bags that night. It was very creative.
